Salem Danville's first service was under a carport on the 1st of March 2009 with 6 people. We started because the people of Danville spoke a need of a Biblical, relevant and alive church.

In December of 2009 we took over an old pub in Danville and renovated it into our church - a miracle done by God! Today we minister to about 100 people, 30 teenagers and 60 children.
Danville is a poor area in Pretoria West, South Africa - unique in a sense that there is poor people of all cultures and races.

Our vision - to bring His Peace and restoration to the people of Danville. To show them that your circumstances do not dictate God's love for you. Jesus loves all, no matter who you are, what you've done, or how much money you have!

God’s presence brings blessing



In 2 Samuel 6 David left the Ark of God at the house of Obed-edom. David did this because He was afraid of the presence of God because Uzzah was struck dead because he touched the Ark.   

Obed-edom’s house was however blessed beyond comprehension: 

2 Sam. 6:11-12(NLT) 

The Ark of the LORD remained there in Obed-edom's house for three months, and the LORD blessed Obed-edom and his entire household.

Then King David was told, "The LORD has blessed Obed-edom's household and everything he has because of the Ark of God." So David went there and brought the Ark of God from the house of Obed-edom to the City of David with a great celebration.  

Because David saw the blessing on Obed-edom’s house, he brought the Ark back to the City of David. The Ark was God’s dwelling place, and wherever His presence is, there He will command a blessing! 

As we saw yesterday – we are the temple of God and God’s Ark with the mercy seat is inside of us. This implies that we carry the presence of God inside us through Jesus Christ! 

If you carry His presence inside of you, He will command blessings over your life! Not because of whom you are, or of what you’ve done… but because of Who’s presence is inside of you!
